The Code - Print Options

It was once illegal to be gay in Canada and the US, and still is in many parts of the world. The handkerchief code was a way men would signal each other to express interest. The code would tell other men what you were looking for depending on which pocket you put the handkerchief in and what colour you wore. Many adult book stores sold handkerchiefs and copies of the code.

The original painting is a 40"x30" Acyrlic on Canvas. All of the originals remain in my personal collection and, at this time are not for sale.

I am offering Limited Edition, full sized, numbered prints of this work on stretched canvas, as well as unlimited prints of various sizes on canvas or art paper. Custom sizes available by request.
